User roles
Patentext supports two roles within an organization: Admin and Standard.
Standard users
- Can view and manage only their own applications.
- Can filter and sort their their applications by title, status, client, matter, created time, or last updated time.
Admin users
- Can view and manage all applications within the organization.
- Can filter by all of the fields above and by user.
- Have full access to edit application metadata.
- Can change organization-level settings.
⚠️ Note: Simultaneous editing of a single application by multiple users is not currently supported. For best results, we recommend one active editor per draft.
Accessing organization settings
Patentext’s home page is divided into two tabs. Under the organization tab, you can view your subscription information, including:
- Your subscription plan
- The number of unused application credits
- A list of the other members of your team
- Any styles created by your organization
